Children Language & Art Program
A summer program that helps children explore identity and Indigenous culture through language and art — guided language classes and art sessions from experienced instructors.
A summer built around language, creativity, identity, and culture.
The Children Language & Art Program is an annual learning event designed to help children understand their identity and culture through language and art. It gives young participants a structured way to stay engaged during the summer while learning from experienced language instructors and artists.
The program supports self-expression, artistic discovery, language development, confidence building, and cultural learning. Children are guided through language sessions and creative projects that can lead to new language skills and completed artworks suitable for community showcases.
This program is delivered as a collaboration between ANCIM and Thrive4Blacks, supporting shared goals around cultural education, children's creativity, youth development, and community empowerment.
